The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attracts expats from all parts of the globe for its variety of employment opportunities. Jobs in Saudi Arabia are available in numerous sectors besides the regular oil and gas jobs. The best thing about jobs in these sectors is that the jobs have good salary package and no taxes are there on income.

If you are lucky in landing a job here, remember these following things in mind. Staying and working in Saudi Arabia have its set of advantages but you must respect the country culture and traditions. The jobs in Saudi Arabia are good source of earning fat cash but do not forget these rules and regulations at any cost.  

·         Always keep your important papers handy

This is a very important point to remember while working in this Islamic nation. Always carry you identification papers and passport. Show to the officials when asked. If you do no show, chances are you will be considered illegal entrant and will be taken to jail. If you go there with your wife, always carry your marriage certificate.

·         Prayer Time Rules

The Muslims of Saudi Arabia prays 5 times a day. The prayer, called namaaz, is usually of 20-30 minutes. During this time, everything in the country comes to a halt. No business activities happen during this moment. If you have any business or personal work, schedule it accordingly.

·         Dress code while working

There are strict laws regarding what to wear in the public. Men should not wear shorts or vests in public. Muslim women should always have their head covered. For the non-Muslim women, it is advisable to carry a headscarf, as there may have occasions when it is required to cover up the head.
 These are some of the important rules and regulations. Also there is a strict no-no on alcohol in the nation.
